PC help: Typing tutor

Fill out url addresses quickly

A few months ago another reader wrote in with a tip for quickly completing .com web addresses in Internet Explorer (ie, just type in any word and then hit Ctrl and Enter to have the web browser automatically insert the ‘www’ and ‘.com’ parts to make a full web address).

Users of the Firefox web browser can take this a stage further. To automatically complete web addresses ending in ‘.net’, use the keyboard shortcut Shift and Enter. For those that finish with ‘.org’, try Ctrl and Shift and Enter.
