Why a small display could hamper your Ubuntu installation
I had difficulty installing the Linux operating system Ubuntu on my laptop. I couldn’t see the buttons in the installation guide because of the small display.
The solution was to right-click on the bottom bar on the Desktop and select Delete This Panel. Click on Delete when a confirmation window appears. Once this had been disabled there was enough space to click on the correct button.
To bring it back, right-click on the bar at the top and left-click on New Panel. To restore the various tools on that Panel, right-click on it and left-click on Add to panel.
Drag and drop the following tools from this window going from left to right: Show Desktop, Window List, Workspace Switcher and Trash. Or you could add these tools to the top bar.
