How to rotate your screen
Q As much as we love our cat Mitzi, she does like to jump on
the computer keyboard when we are using it. Her latest excursion was a key
combination that rotated the display by 90 degrees and we don’t know how to turn
it back.

A As some LCD monitors can be rotated for a portrait view (useful for editing long Word documents), many graphics card drivers can rotate Windows. Keyboard shortcuts are created to make this quick, but it can be a source of confusion.
Computers that use Intel integrated graphics use the combination Ctrl, Alt and the Up arrow to return the monitor to the normal rotation. Use the left and right arrows for rotating the display by 90 degrees. In the unlikely event of it being necessary, pressing Ctrl, Alt and Down turns the display upside down.
