Use Openoffice templates to print your own business cards
If you need some business cards quickly and don’t want to have to wait for them to be printed, why not make some of your own?
You can download an Openoffice template that works with printer-ready business cards (Avery code 5371).
There is no automatic way to copy the contents of the first card into all the other cards. Instead you will have to use copy and paste.
Luckily Openoffice remembers the exact position of pictures and text boxes, so don’t type any text in directly.
Click on each part of the card and press Ctrl and C together to copy it to the clipboard. Click into each other cell in turn and press Ctrl and V to paste the boxes.
To add a text box, click on the T icon in the Drawing toolbar. Click on View, Toolbars and Drawing if you can’t see this toolbar.

Avery templates
It is easier and quicker to download Avery Design Wizard direct from Avery. Its free. All that is needed is to find a suitable template -from business cards to CD covers/labels and print out on either plain paper using glue to stick on envelopes etc or better still buy corresponding adhesive labels - don't even need to be Avery's own brand. Many others use same parameters.
