Back up bookmarks online

Share websites with other people and between several computers with Delicious.com

q-a-logo

The online bookmarking website Delicious is useful for sharing websites with other people and between several computers.

It is a good idea to back up your bookmarks every so often. Log on to delicious.com and click on the Settings link at the top-right of the web page. Click on the Export/Backup Bookmarks link in the Bookmarks section. This is the second section in the main part of the web page.

There are two options in the next window for saving the notes and tags given to links. Click on the Export button and select Save when your internet browser asks what to do with the download. Select a location and click OK.

If you open the download in a web browser you will see a list of bookmarks. If you select the View source option, you will see the tags and notes.
