Enable Javascript in Windows XP home
Q How do I check that Javascript is enabled? I am running Windows XP Home on my PC.
Robert Warbrick
A The setting for Javascript is chosen in each individual browser, rather than one choice for all of Windows.
Click on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and then on Internet Options. Click on the Security tab and then on the Custom level button.
Scroll down to Scripting section of the list and look for the entry Active scripting, which can be set to Disable, Enable or prompt.
The change is slightly different in Firefox. Click on the Tools menu and select Options. Click on the Content tab to see the option for Javascript.
