Printing from web pages
Q When I print a page direct from
Ebay I
get one page of text and pictures followed by a second page with only one line
on it. How can I get the whole page on one sheet?
Sue Griffin
A There’s too much information to fit on a single sheet of paper. One answer is to not print the second page, as this often contains non-essential information. Go to Pages in the Print dialogue box, and type 1 into the box to indicate that just the first page should be printed. Then click on Print.
Another option is to select thetext you want by clicking and dragging the mouse over it. Then, in the Print dialogue box, click on the word Selection, which will make sure just the selected text and images are printed.
This is a well-known shortcoming of Internet Explorer 6 (the version supplied with Windows XP). An alternative is to download the Firefox browser or Internet Explorer 7.
