Organise all your picture files
Q I have a few hundred photos to number, is there a quick
way to number them all to go on a CD? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Ron Cushing
A In Photoshop Elements, open the File Browser using the File menu. In the browser, find the folder on your computer which contains the image files. Select the files to rename – if it’s everything in the folder, click on one, then press Ctrl and A to select them all. Right-click any one of the selected files and choose Batch Rename from the menu that appears.
In the dialogue box, choose whether to keep the renamed files in the same folder or copy them elsewhere, then select a file-renaming template from the drop-down list. You can also choose your own template by typing it into the box.
