Make sure you enter web addresses in the correct place
Q I tried to use one of the snipurl.com addresses given in Computeractive but it didn’t work. Google reported that ‘You’re search – www.snipurl.com/d2orm – did not match any documents.’ although there were plenty of sponsored links. How can I follow the link?
J Hicks
A This happens if you type the snipurl address into the search box either in the main part of the Google website or in the Google toolbar.
The address should be entered into the address bar of your browser, this is to the right of the forward and backward arrows at the top of the window.
If you are unsure about where to click, hold down the Ctrl button and press L. This will either open a dedicated window for the address in Internet Explorer or move the cursor into the address bar in Firefox.
