How to get text to wrap properly in Microsoft Word
Q I have a table in Word that is hiding some of the text in certain cells. The text does not start a new line but carries on under the cell to the right.
A The problem in this situation is the right indent setting for the cell. Normally this should match the right-hand side of the cell or be inside to keep the text away from the edge of the cell. To check if this is the cause of the problem, left-click inside the problem cell.
If the rulers are not visible, click on the View menu and then on Ruler. Directly above the right-hand side of the cell will be a square on the ruler. If there is a triangle to the right of this, click and drag it to the left of the square.
