Add a webcam to Skype and help a friend in need
I am frequently called upon by a friend to help fix problems with his computer. It is often difficult to do this because I cannot see what is on his screen and he finds it hard to describe.
Rather than install remote access on his computer we use a webcam pointed at his screen because we are already using Skype to talk with each other. I can then see what is happening on his computer. It is also much easier to speak instructions rather than attempt to type them and using Skype, there is no charge for the conversations or video.
