View and move open windows in this Linux operating system

Q I have recently installed the normal version of Ubuntu on my netbook computer. Unfortunately, some of the windows are too big to fit on the screen but, because the OK and Cancel buttons are at the bottom of the window, they weren’t visible.

A To use the full version of Ubuntu rather than the one for small screens there is a way to move windows around the screen, even if you cannot see the title bar, or the title bar won’t move up. Hold down the Alt key and then click and drag anywhere on the window to move it around the screen.
