Create a hard copy of aircraft information
Now manuals are supplied as PDF files it can be tricky getting critical information for Flight Simulator aircraft such as stalling or safe landing speed. This information is normally supplied on the Kneeboard window, which can be opened by pressing Shift and F10 together.
This is not very convenient. However, the aircraft information used for the Kneeboard can be found in the aircraft folder as an HTML page that can be loaded and edited in Microsoft Word or Open Office Writer.
There are two files for each aircraft. Click on the Start button and My Computer. Double-click on C:, then Program Files, Microsoft Games, Flight Simulator X, SimObjects, Airplanes or Rotorcraft (for helicopters) and then the name of the aircraft. The file names start with the name of the aircraft and end in _check and _ref.
These files open in a web browser so you can quickly print them.
