Recording gone in 60 seconds?
If you are frustrated by the 60-second recording limit when using the Sound Recorder option in Windows, there is a way to increase the length of recording time.
Start a recording session and let it run until it stops at 60 seconds. Save the file as, say, Blank (a .wav extension will be added) then click on Edit and choose Insert File and select Blank – the file that you just created.
Now choose Open from the File menu and you will notice that the Length box on sound recorder has increased to 120 seconds.
Just keep repeating this process until the required recording length is reached, then make and save your recording as normal.
