Set up the Opera feature for use in the Mozilla web browser
Q Having used Opera for several years I have decided to give Firefox a try.
Although I like it for the most part, I miss the mouse gestures. Is this possible in Firefox?
Peter Taylor
A It is, by using an add-on called Mouse Gestures.
Mouse Gestures work in the same way as Opera gestures, by holding down the right-hand mouse button and moving the mouse. Some of the gestures are slightly different.
Click on Tools, then Addons. Scroll down to Mouse Gestures, left-click on it once and then click on the Options button.
Click on the Print Gestures button to see a list of all the gestures. Left-clicking on the Edit Gestures button shows all the different gestures and the actions linked to them.
We also recommend turning on the mouse trails as this makes it much easier to see what you are doing. Click on the Visual settings tab and then on the box labelled Activate mouse trails. Click on OK and the settings will be saved.
Mouse gestures are also available as an add-on for Internet Explorer.
