Install the Firefox add-on IE-Tab to access websites requiring Internet Explorer with Firefox
When using Firefox there are times when websites demand Internet Explorer – even if they might work fine with Firefox. There is a solution to this problem in the form of an add-on called IE-Tab.
Start Firefox and visit the add-ons for Firefox site. Click on the Add to Firefox (Windows) button. When the Software Installation window appears, click on the IE tab entry and then on Install.
You must wait five seconds before the button becomes visible. When the installation has finished, click on the Restart Firefox button to complete the process.
When Firefox starts again, there should be a new tab with an Internet Explorer logo on it. Left-click on this to open a new tab using Internet Explorer.
If the icon is not visible, right-click on the toolbar and left-click on Customize. Drag the IE Tab icon onto the toolbar.
