It does not take many gadgets before even the most organised desk is a web of cables. The Idapt i3 reduces clutter in two ways. It reduces wires to a single power cable and gadgets sit on top to charge.
The i3 is versatile because the power connectors are separate plugs that can be rearranged across the three charging positions. The box includes adapters for devices that use Mini and micro USB, iPod and iPhone, Nokia 2, Samsung 4 and Sony Ericsson 2 connectors.
The i3 isn’t limited to these plugs and more can be found on the Idapt website at €8 a time. There is even a AA and AAA battery charger, although this is a more expensive €15.
This is a very good idea but sadly stops short of being able to install the tips in either direction. This occasionally means devices are charged facing away from you.
The other problem is that with nothing to support the devices they won’t all stay up. You won’t be able to use devices that have their socket on the side while charging.
The Idapt i3 is a good idea and can reduce clutter on the desk, but be prepared to buy extra plugs depending on your gadgets.
