How to remove Google Chrome from your computer
Q I installed Google Chrome but have decided that I prefer Firefox. How can I remove Chrome?
John Herron
A The Google Chrome browser can be removed from your computer like any other program with the Add/Remove programs utility in the Control panel.
In Windows XP, left-click on the Start Button and then on Control Panel. If you use the Category view, left-click once on Add or Remove Programs, double-click on this icon if you use the Classic View.
Scroll down the list to Google Chrome (the programs are listed alphabetically) and then click on the Remove button. Follow the wizard to uninstall Chrome.
In Windows Vista, left-click on the Start button and then on Control Panel. Click on Uninstall a program in the Programs section. Find Google Chrome, left-click on it once and then on the Uninstall button.
