Simple clear advice in plain English

Control your computer from anywhere

Take remote control of another PC using the powerful remote-access tool UltraVNC

Lots of people now have access to more than one computer at home, and they’re often linked together to form a network.

With remote-access software, it is possible to use one computer on a network to take control of another, enabling the user to work with the remote computer as if sat right in front of it. A free remote-access program called UltraVNC opens up a huge range of possibilities. The application can even be used to take control of a computer from anywhere in the world via the internet.

In the Workshops section of Computeractive issue 254 we demonstrate how to get started with this powerful and useful software. So, refer to the magazine and then click to be transferred the UltraVNC's software developer's home page.
