Simple clear advice in plain English

Stop Google Chrome remembering passwords

Set Google Chrome to never save passwords for websites and delete passwords already saved

q-a-logo

I downloaded the Google Chrome web browser and, while I like it for web browsing, I don’t like the way it automatically remembers my passwords for websites.

There is a simple way to prevent this from happening. Click on the spanner icon on the top right-hand side and then Options.

Left-click on the tab called Minor Tweaks. Click on the option Never save passwords. To remove passwords already saved, click on the button Show saved passwords.

Click on the Remove all button and then close twice to save the changes.
