How can I customise the search box?

Using search engines other than Google is easy

q-a-logo

It is possible to use search engines other than Google with the Search box that sits to the right of the Address Bar. Click on the small downward-pointing arrow next to the Google logo and select another search website.

Additional sites can be added to this list. Click on Manage Search Engines in the search engine list. Click on the link Get more search engines if the one you want isn’t listed.

Firefox will go to the Add-ons section of the Firefox website. When you find the one you want, click the green Add to Firefox button.

If there’s a licence needed for use, it will be shown on the next page. Scroll down and click Accept and Install. Select the option Start using it right away and click Add in the window that appears.
