Even though you think you have completely deleted your files from your PC's Recycle bin, they can sometimes be retrieved. We show you how to do it
I thought it would be helpful to remind everyone that when you empty the Recycle Bin, or use Shift-Del to delete files or folders, they are not removed from the hard disk, even though Windows asks “Are you sure you want to permanently delete this file/folder?”.
The actual data for the ‘body’ of the file is still there on your hard disk and could be found if anyone needed to use free tools from the internet such as Recuva.
If this worries you, you could use a file erase program to wipe the free space on the drive. A good example of a tool that can help you wipe progams is Eraser.
Once Eraser has been installed, double-click on the icon on the Desktop to start it. Press Ctrl and N to create a new task. Select ‘Run immediately’ and then click on the 'Add data' button. Select 'Unused disk space' and click on OK. Eraser will start wiping the unused space on the hard disk. This may take some time.

CCleaner does this job already, history and drive wipe options. Yes there are loads of options to permanently wipe your tracks but I would stick with CCleaner. check out their webiste for an in-depth help guide.
