It is possible to connect a second monitor to a PC although you may need a second graphics card. Full details of this are covered in one of our workshops
Q I recently bought a new widescreen monitor, which is working just fine. As a result, I now have a spare monitor. Can I attach this to my PC to use as a second monitor, in order to keep instruction screens and so forth in view (I lose my way far too often)? If so, can you guide me through the process step by step?
Peter Drake
A Yes, this is possible – though you will probably need to buy and fit an additional graphics card.
Take a look at our workshop explaining the process of installing a second graphics card and setting up multiple monitors – and nothing fundamental about the process has changed since then.
