The Opera web browser is great for swapping files with fellow users once you have registered for an account – or you could even run a website
If you want to share files with friends, the Opera web browser offers a solution.
Download and start Opera, click on the Opera button at the top Opera Unite and then Enable Opera Unite. Click on Next and complete the registration form. Click on the button above the form if you already have an Opera account. Make a note of your Opera Unite web address and give the computer a name. Click on Finish.
Follow the link in the email sent to the address you used to activate the account.
To enable the Unite tools, click on the third icon down on the left-hand side of the Opera window. The Tools on your computer are shown in the panel that appears. Click on Add to browse the full selection.
Once installed, click on a tool and then on the Start button. This can be used to share files, or even run a website.
