The Opera browser has a clear list of shortcuts for different search engines
One of the useful tools in the web browser Opera is the ability to search using several different websites, not just Google.
For example, to search for an article on Wikipedia, click on the small down arrow next to the Google icon in the search box. That’s the one on the right. Click on the website you want to search, enter the search term and press enter.
It is possible to search these other websites from the address bar. You may already know that if you enter more than one word into the address bar such as ‘clarinet reed’ Opera automatically searches Google for that term.
Starting the query with a specific shortcut letter will use an alternative. To search Wikipedia for the same term, enter ‘w clarinet reed’. A full list of the shortcuts can be found by clicking on the same icon as to select a different search engine, then clicking on Manage Search Engine. Each search engine is shown with the keyword that’s used to select them.
