Animals near your PC can cause problems that are easy to fix - if you only know how. Trial and error taught Greta Russell how to rotate her screen back to normal
My cat, Pixie, loves climbing all over me when I’m at my desktop computer. Yesterday, she walked over the keyboard when I was checking my emails and to my horror turned the screen upside down.
I was distraught because I knew she must have stepped on a key combination to cause this and I did not know what to do to correct it. I closed Outlook and set about pressing all kinds of key combinations in the hope that I could replicate and rectify the situation but alas, nothing worked.
Eventually I right-clicked on the desktop, Graphics Options and then Graphics Properties. Deselecting the option ‘Enable rotation’ in the Rotate tab returned the screen to normal.
I later discovered that the Graphics Properties window can be opened by pressing Ctrl, Alt and F12. Sometimes pressing Ctrl, Alt and the up arrow can fix the problem.
