The whole point of a portable document format (PDF) is that it can't be changed easily. If you created the original document, that's the place to do a spellcheck
Q I have several PDF files that contain poor spelling. Is it possible to spellcheck them?
Howard Angel
A PDF documents cannot be edited easily (that’s the whole point of this file format), so there’s little point in detecting any spelling errors they contain – unless you’re planning to retype the document or scan and pass them on, of course.
If generating your own PDFs, then spellcheck the original document first in whichever application is used to create it, such as Word.
