Do you want to protect your privacy from social advertising? Mr Millar has found how to stop his name or photo appearing in these adverts on Linked In's pages
The business social-networking site Linked In recently introduced social advertising that combines adverts with content from users. It’s enabled by default but is simple to disable.
Click your name in the right-hand corner of the page. Click on Settings. Click on the Account tab at the bottom and then Manage Social Advertising.
Remove the tick from the box in the window that appears to stop your account showing up in adverts. Click Save.
