Simple clear advice in plain English

Make your logon screen your own with your favourite picture

Bored with seeing the same old screen every day? Then change the wallpaper to a photo or painting of your choice

Personalise the logon screen with Tweaks.com
Adding a photo of your own will brighten up your screen

A good way to personalise your computer is to change the wallpaper. If you want to change the wallpaper on the logon screen the easy way, I found a helpful utility on the Tweaks website.

Click on www.snipca.com/X4181 to download the file. Double-click the file and extract it. It may be easiest to drag it to the Desktop. Double-click the extracted file to run the utility. Click on Yes when the User Account Control window appears.

The utility shows a preview of your logon window. Click on the left-hand Change Logon Screen button. Find an image and click Open. Click Yes if prompted to create a smaller copy of the image. Click on the Test button to lock the computer and show the new image in place. Click on the Revert to Default Logon Screen button to remove any changes.
