Discover how to liven up a database by adding images
I liked the Computeractive article about databases and improved the example by including images of items. Click on the Tables icon, right-click on MyStuff and select Edit.
Click in the Field Name box and type Picture. Select Image [LONGVARBINARY] from the Field Type dropdown menu. Click Save and then close.
Click on the Forms icon, right-click on MyStuff and select Edit. Click on the More Control icon in the Form Control Toolbar.
Click on the Image Control icon and draw where you want the image to appear. Right-click on the box that appears and select Control. Click on the Data tab and select Picture in the Data field menu.
Select No in the Input required menu and close the window. Save the form. When you are editing the data in the form, double-click on the image box to show the Open picture dialogue box. Select the picture and click on Open.
