A projector, a camera and some film result in a fascinating home-made way of creating JPEGs from your old transparencies
I have made a bench to photograph 35mm slides with my digital camera. It has a projector at one end with the camera. In the middle is a piece of translucent drawing film that has produced good results.
Slides must be inserted into the projector back to front so that the camera sees the picture correctly. To give the best possible picture I have also made a hood from a large cardboard box that fits closely over the screen between the projector and the camera to act as a light trap.
My camera is a Kodak digital and readily bolts to the camera slide.
