Keep your favourite search engines close at hand on the Firefox Search bar
To add extra search engines to the Search bar in Firefox, click on the down arrow next to the search engine icon (normally Google) and click Manage Seach Engines. This shows all the search engines installed in Firefox.
Click on the link at the bottom left of the window that says ‘Get more search engines…’ This opens a new tab with the Search Tools page on the Firefox Add-ons site.
Find a search engine you want to use and click the green ‘Add to Firefox’ button. The add-on will be downloaded and the Software Installation window will appear. Click the Install button when the countdown disappears.
A message will appear that asks you to restart Firefox. Once you’ve done so, you’ll find the new search engine in the Search Engine dropdown menu.
