Transferring images from an iPad to PC can be tricky but if you have a free Dropbox account it can be used to help.

Download the Dropbox app from iTunes and sign in or create a new account. Tap the Dropbox menu icon at the top left of the iPad screen when the Dropbox app is running, then tap Uploads from the row of icons that appear at the bottom of the resulting menu.

Go back to the top of the column and tap the plus (+) symbol, and the menu bar will display a list of thumbnail images of photos stored on the iPad. Tap one or more and a red tick will appear on the thumbnails.

Once you’ve finished selecting images, tap the blue Upload button at the top right. Dropbox will add the images to every computer that has the software installed, so you can access or copy the images from the Dropbox folder on each device.
