Keep an eye on your security software settings with MyBitdefender

In this video we'll explain how to use the remote control feature in MyBitdefender to control your Bitdefender products.

Open Bitdefender Total Security 2013 and click on MyBitdefender in the top right corner. Click on Dashboard and the web browser will open and load your MyBitdefender account.

Scroll down to the bottom of the web page to see a list of devices linked to the account. This could be a collection of computers in the family home. Mobile devices such as Android phones and tablets running Bitdefender security software will also show up here.

Clicking on a device will display a new page with various remote management options. For a computer running Bitdefender Total Security 2013 this will be full scan, quick scan, product registration and product update. Clicking on Start next to one of these options will start the process in question.

This feature comes in handy if you want to manage the software from anywhere in the world - all you need is an internet connection. The inclusion of remote control for mobile devices running Bitdefender software is also very handy.
