Orange's new model with an integrated digital camera.
While the E200 looks almost identical to the E100 it's loaded with some excellent new features.
First is the integrated digital camera that can take snaps at resolutions of 640 x 480, which is fine for email and other MMS-enabled phones. The E200 can also take video clips, which is a novelty but a good one. It comes with an 8Mb memory card, which can be replaced via the SD/MMC memory card slot.
Aesthetic changes include a funky blue glow behind the keypad, a more responsive joystick to switch between options and a brighter screen. Athough the E200 is big by today's standards, it's still fairly light at 130g. Another new trick is Bluetooth, which allows the E200 to connect to other Bluetooth-enabled products, such as handheld computers for file transfers.
It comes with mobile versions of Internet Explorer and MSN Messenger, and by using the supplied cradle to link to a PC it can synchronise, display and edit Outlook data such as contacts and tasks.
This is a big improvement on the E100. The £99 price (with contract) is great for such a technological wonder but the real costs will be incurred on internet usage.
