ImageRecall 3

Recover lost files from memory cards

ImageRecall 3 is aimed at digital camera owners who have lost pictures that were once stored on a memory card. The software has been completely rewritten since ImageRecall 2, and now has an easy-to-use menu system.

ImageRecall 3 performed very well in our tests. It recovered the majority of our lost images, although occasionally some were corrupted. In other words, there's not much that this or any other program could do for a small percentage of the pictures.

We were pleased to see that ImageRecall 3 was able to recover other types of file, including video clips and text documents. Depending on the severity of corruption, though, they might not be an exact replica of their former selves.

Whether ImageRecall 3 is right for you depends on how badly you need to recover your lost files. There is a fairly strong chance of success, but at £99 per year, it could prove to be very expensive.

A very useful tool, but it's costly and there's no guarantee of a successful recovery
