Fujifilm makes several waterproof cases for its range of cameras, although the catch is that you'll need to pick the one that matches your camera exactly.

Here we're looking at the WP-FXF100, which fits only the Finepix F100fd camera. At a street price of £130 it's almost half as expensive again as the camera itself, so it's not cheap.

But it does its job well – it's easy to fit with a simple catch to open and close it, and once you've done that the camera is sealed in tightly using a rubber ring around the inside of the case.

That's part of the reason you need to pick the correct model – the case fits snugly around the camera. It also has exterior buttons that, when pressed, press the relevant on-camera button, so it's possible to use all the features and see the screen when using the case.

There is a diffuser fitted over the flash, so that light will be softened for better underwater results.

It's waterproof to depths of 40m (131 feet) so it may not be for hardcore divers, although those people will probably have their own custom kit. At depths greater than that, the pressure might start to force the case apart, which will spell trouble for your camera.

If you're going on a diving holiday and don't want to leave your camera at home, this is a great idea, but if you're not going to do that very often it's an expensive option.

Take a look below at some of the pictures we took with the WP-FXF100 and the F100fd.
