Teach the alphabet to your child with Dr. Seuss.
Dr Seuss' ABC is a CD-ROM-based alphabet book featuring characters from the popular Dr Seuss' children's books.
Izzy and Ichabod guide young readers through the letters. Each letter is accompanied by simple and fun cartoon introductions, and the screen is packed with things to click on. In the 26 pages, there are over 400 animations and interactive elements yet, despite being very rich, the menus are clear. Overall, it is well-suited to the three- to five-year-old age range.
Dr Seuss' ABC does a good job of keeping the options simple, while offering an interface that is exciting enough to encourage children to explore and learn. Our favourite aspects of the interface are the Read to Me and Let Me Play modes. These enable the program to be a passive or active learning tool, and provide a good alternative for very young children who might struggle with the interface. In addition to the main alphabet section, there is an Alphabet song to sing along to.

Overall:
Dr Seuss' ABC is a well-presented and entertaining learning aid that parents should enjoy just as much as the kids.
