An impressive graphics card from MSI.
Considering the fuss that was made when its predecessor, the 9800 XT, was released, we were expecting big things from the MSI RX800 Pro TD256, and it delivered.
It uses the impressive Radeon X800 Pro chipset from ATI; one of the latest graphics chips to hit the market. One of the most important additions to the RX800 Pro is an increase in the number of rendering 'pipelines', which effectively increases the number of pixels that can be displayed at one time.
ATI has also increased the speed at which the graphics card's main processor and 256Mb of memory operates, so it can calculate complex information at high speeds. This means you'll be able to play the latest games at a high resolution with all of the advanced effects switched on.
The MSI RX800 is aimed squarely at games enthusiasts. It provides superb performance but is very expensive. Graphics fans will want to look out for our review of nVidia's latest offering next issue.

Overall:
It's very fast but there aren't many games that can take full advantage of its power.
A smartphone that's eye-catchingly different.
