Art and Craft Studio is a series of affordable and easy-to-use design programs aimed at home users who want to experiment with creative projects at home.

We looked at the T-shirt version but there are others available for creating calendars, greetings cards, and even fridge magnets. The package consists of a simple program for creating the designs, along with a set of 10 iron-on transfer papers onto which the designs can be printed, then ironed onto a t-shirt.

The Studio program includes a variety of templates to help get started, along with some simple text and graphics tools that allow the user to customise the templates or create entirely new ones. You can also import graphics or photos, so there is plenty of scope for experimenting and trying out different designs.

Only 10 transfers are supplied with the program, but there are additional packs available from the company's website (A4 transfers cost £10 for a pack of 10). Despite the cost of extra transfers, Art and Craft Studio is an inexpensive design tool that will appeal to parents who want to keep their kids busy in a fun way.
