Simple clear advice in plain English

Kcorp KLS-5810

A wireless ADSL router with a broadband modem

The Kcorp KLS-5810 is a wireless ADSL router with a built-in modem that lets you share a broadband connection between several PCs. As with similar devices, connecting it to your computer is easy, but the accompanying installation manual is somewhat jargon-heavy.

Despite this, configuring the device is straightforward. It has a built-in HTTP server, which means you can enter your ADSL settings (username, password and others) into a web browser. The language used during this stage can be quite baffling, but this is common to all devices of this type. Kcorp has included a wizard that eases the process.

The KLS-5810 is compatible with the popular 802.11b/g wireless network standards and is supplied with either a PCI card for installation in a PC, or a PC Card for a notebook.

The KLS-5810 offers good value for money. It's fairly easy to configure but setting up the Wi-Fi side of things could prove tricky.
