It's a little unwieldy, but the Navsure 300i is hard to beat for the money
From Halfords’ own-brand range of sat-nav devices, the Navsure 300i is a curiously chubby little fellow.
It’s also the only system in our group to run on four AA batteries rather than a rechargeable power cell. Heavy and oddly shaped, the Navsure is a little awkward to carry when it’s not docked in the car.
At just 2.7 inches, the Navsure also has the smallest screen of all the units on test, which makes it both more difficult to see and harder to be accurate when tapping on the touch-sensitive screen.
The navigation software worked pretty well, albeit slightly slowly. Its great failing is that it doesn’t accept full UK postcodes, which means a lot of extra tapping on that little screen. It’s not perfect by a long chalk but, at only £120, the Navsure 300i is undeniably good value.

Navsure 300i
I had a Navsure 300i bought for me last Christmas by my wife and the in car charger has snapped off. I went to Halfords in Sutton today to see if they could arrange for a replacement and was told it's an old model and if I needed a new charger I should contact Navsure direct. When I asked about the warranty the manageress shrugged her shoulders and walked off. I agree the Navsure 300i is valu for money, but not when you buy it from Halfords.

navsure
I can't believe that Halfords think they can just sell a product and not support it. I have the 200i and I intend to bring this up with trading standards. p.s. very happy with my navsure - just need updates.

I agree with you. I won't swear but Halfords have fleeced me out of £35 of my hard earned cash. There are no updates what so ever. The salesmen could of pointed this out. This is rip off Britain.
