Looking for the perfect image? So is Hyundai
The Imagequest Q17+ is a 17in monitor with a good list of features. It has both analogue and digital connections and Hyundai has thoughtfully included both VGA and DVI cables in the box.
Despite having a digital connection, the Q17+'s image quality was best described as average. The picture had a harsh look to it but, if you're willing to spend some time tweaking the settings, things do improve.
Like most screens of this size, the Q17+ has a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 1,024. It has a very fast response time, which means it's particularly well suited to displaying fast-moving images (such as those in games) without becoming blurry.
The Q17+ is also good for watching DVD movies and, despite its small size, can be viewed easily by a group of people. You'll need to adjust the height and tilt of the screen, though, as the image will degrade when viewed at an angle.
The Q17+ has a flexible double-hinged base, which houses a set of (feeble) integrated speakers and a two-port USB 2 hub. It's not the most stylish display, but at £270, it is a good option for the price.
