StudioLine Photo 2

Organise your digital photos with this piece of software.

If you have an ever-expanding collection of digital photos on your PC that could do with being in some sort of order, StudioLine Photo 2 could be just what you're after. The software is designed to organise, archive, edit and share your images using simple tools and helpful wizards.

After a straightforward installation, you can upload any number of pictures from your hard disk or CDs and these are presented as thumbnails on your screen. You can then organise them into different folders and subfolders, adding titles or even full descriptions to all your pictures.

Images can be rearranged or transferred between folders by a simple drag-and-drop method. The main screen is well laid out, although it does look a little dated compared to rival products.

A toolbar at the bottom of the screen gives you options to print, email, create web galleries or make slideshows. The fast-correction photo-editing tools are also excellent.

Images can also be exported in a wide array of file formats and the handy batch-processing feature lets you make the same changes to a set number of photos. Once you've named your pictures, the search tool will also come in handy.
