MSI Mega Free Talk FT 200 Bluetooth Headset

An easy to use Bluetooth headset

Most new mobile phones have Bluetooth capability, so using a compatible headset seems the logical hands-free option even if they do look slightly odd.

Unlike some Bluetooth devices, the MSI Mega Free Talk FT 200 is very easy to use. Just enable the 'discoverable' mode on a mobile phone, press and hold a button on the FT 200 and the two will become paired.

Once connected, you can answer and reject calls, enable voice dialling, activate the last number dialled and adjust the volume from the two buttons integrated into the device.

It's about the size of a USB memory key and has a loop to fit behind the ear. It charges from the mains, or from a USB power connection, and on a full charge will last for approximately five hours if talking continuously. In standby mode, it will last for a week.

Sound quality is crystal clear and it feels comfortable to wear. Perhaps the best thing, though, is the price. At £30, it's great value for money.
