Keep your PC secure against internet threats
Zonelabs Zonealarm with Antivirus is designed to protect you against a variety of internet nasties. The software includes a personal firewall, which guards your PC and makes it extremely difficult for hackers to gain access.
If an attack on your PC is detected, the program displays a pop-up box informing you that it has denied access to an intruder. If you believe you are under attack, there is the option of temporarily blocking all incoming or outgoing internet traffic.
Zonealarm also lets you specify which programs on your computer are allowed access to the internet. Each time a program tries to connect, a pop-up box informs you of its attempt to go online and gives you the option of denying access. This comes in useful for stopping malicious software that has secretly been installed on your PC from broadcasting any personal information across the Internet.
Keeping the anti-virus portion of the software up to date costs $20 (£10) per year, which is one of the lowest rates we've seen. If you need a program that provides a substantial level of protection and is easy to use, this is well-worth investing in.
