What this camera lacks in style it makes up in value for money.
The Trust 1210 Powerc@m Optical Zoom is not the smallest camera around. It's not as sleek as the Sony Cybershots of this world, but it has a 3x optical zoom, a Sony lens and 5-megapixels.
It can snap images up to a resolution of 2,496 x 1,872, which is more than adequate if you want to print to A3 size. There are three quality settings to choose from, each of which relates to how many photos can be stored on the 15Mb internal memory. Five photos can be taken at its maximum quality, and 293 at its lowest. You'll need a memory card for the SD/MMC slot if you plan to use this camera for high-resolution images.
Other features include a 'burst mode', allowing you to take from two to 99 pictures in quick succession. There's automatic flash, red-eye reduction, automatic white balance control, a webcam feature and a macro mode. There's also basic photo-editing software, a tripod and a two-year standard exchange warranty.
Trust's products may have the reputation of being cheap and cheerful, but when you're paying less than £200 for a 5-megapixel camera, you can't complain.
