Create your own comics and more
Comic Life can be used to turn your photos into a comic. Once installed it finds photos on your hard disk and arranges them into thumbnails, next to a collection of speech bubbles, headings and descriptive panels.
To make a comic you need to drag one of the 300 page templates into the work area, then drag photos in and add the speech bubbles and descriptive text panels. There are 180 ready-made styles and every element can be edited in place including colour, fill, gradient, shadows and fonts.
If you do not want to use a template it’s easy to create pages from scratch, lining frames up using the guides, zooming in for fine editing. Eventually you end up with a finished comic (or photo story, party invite or poster) that can be emailed, saved as a web page or made into a simple video slideshow.
The beauty of Comic Life is twofold. First, the ready-made templates and styles make it easy for anyone to create a comic or a page-based presentation of any kind. Second, the ability to edit the appearance of almost anything means that creative types will not feel restricted.

A simple idea, brilliantly executed. Useful for any kind of illustration, not just comics
