Legoland

You may have visited the Legoland Theme Park in Windsor. This title puts you in control of such a theme park, giving you full reign over all aspects of its operation.

There is a lengthy tutorial that introduces you to Legoland's concepts. The game involves you running a theme park, building and maintaining new attractions and then passing a strict inspection to move on to the next level, where the challenges are harder. Each level of progress lets you unlock new and more exciting rides for your park.

There is also a free-play mode, where you can use all the rides you have unlocked to create and run a park from the ground up.

There is no shortage of bright colours and kids will have plenty of fun watching the folk of Legoland exploring their park.

Pitching the game at ages three and up is a little ambitious, as younger children will have trouble with the complexity of the controls.
