An ADSL router from Netgear.
One of the great things about ADSL broadband is that it's fast enough to let multiple PCs go online at once. Of course, you'll need an ADSL router to do the job such as Netgear's elegant DM602.
This small lozenge-shaped device is well-priced and gives lots of options for use. In its most basic form it acts as an ADSL modem, connecting to a PC via USB. In this mode, it makes a suitable choice for anyone opting for a self-install ADSL connection that doesn't include the modem. The DM602 also has a network port, so you can plug it into a home network.
In this mode it also acts as router so that all of your PCs can be connected to the internet at the same time.
It's incredibly simple to set up and while the DM602 might not contain all the advanced functions of more expensive products, you are unlikely to miss them unless you're an expert.
Excellent instructions take you step-by-step through the installation process. If you have a home network and want to share your ADSL there are few simpler options than this.
